This is really interesting. Thank you for your insights! (Always prefer fans insights over critics reviews!)
It makes me wonder if RSL's discomfort stemmed from the material -as you say there is a hint to his character being inappropriate with students. Or whether he was just uncomfortable because of the clumsy direction?
