I was also disappointed that we didn't find out more about Wilson's background! I think it would have been interesting and it still angers me that they just dropped the brother story line!
I think David Shore realized too late (aka the last season) that what really made the show was the interaction between House and Wilson.
I couldn't agree more! It was great that we got a Hilson ending, but it was just too late. Many great House/Wilson opportunities were missed!
