I love his voice and could listen to him read the phone book, but he basically says the same thing in each one when just presenting. So it was a lovely surprise to have a bit of typical RSL humour at the beginning of this one!

RSL is the last elusive (not sure if I'm using the right word here) thing in a culture of constant non-stop availability.

I love that he just disappears and you know he's just chilling with his family and dog, reading books in his pyjamas. And you think that's all he is doing and then he surprises you as it turns out he's filmed a TV episode or something! (Sneaky!)
I do miss him when he disappears but then I guess that's why it's such a huge treat when he does turn up again! :D
