He really does! It's a great role for him. (I used to say when he was in House that when it ends he should play a lawyer in Law And Order. 1) because he says he loves the show and 2) Because I could always see him in that role!)

I'm also excited because I have watched Law And Order: SVU regularly for years and years (before even House!) It's so nice and exciting to see him in something I watch week in, week out!

My thoughts almost exactly mirror yours. The Good Wife was my first choice, but any L&O franchise makes me just as happy. It's really his type of show.

Yes I predicted he would do The Good Wife too! It's a shame that he didn't get a more long term role as it would suit him well! But then again, I suppose being the guest spot is nice short term work for him and means he can spend more time with the family. :-)

I admit that Law and Order SVU is my least favorite of the Law and Orders (if we're only counting Law and Order the original and Law and Order CI), but I'm really happy that he's still doing tv.

I would have loved to see him on Law and order (the original) and go against Sam Waterston or on Law and Order: CI.

I've always liked SVU. Watched it forever (since before House aired!)
My favourite was always Criminal Intent (as I love Vince D'onofrio and Kathryn Erbe.) I told RSL I would have liked to have seen him in Criminal Intent when I asked about Law and Order. That would have been TV heaven for me. But yes I agree, seeing him up against Sam Waterston on the original L&O would be awesome! (I think he would agree!)
